 East Bay Artists Guild is a non-profit organization formed by caring and enthusiastic artists who want to share the joy of art, and make a positive impact on the community.

Vision:

The vision of East Bay Artists Guild is to be recognized by name alone, as the dynamic organization dedicated to the success of artists, and driven towards integrating the benefits of art and art appreciation into communities.

Mission:

Our mission is to create, foster and sustain an appreciation of art within the community; to provide a venue for the display of art by member and guest artists; and to sponsor educational programs and exhibitions to increase the knowledge and skill of our members and the general public, to the end that a better community my result.

We believe that art should be an integral part of business, city, and local community.

We believe in creating an atmosphere which encourages community participation.

We believe that knowledge in general, and in art in particular, should be shared generously with our members and the community through various group and public educational and recreational activities.

We believe that it is essential for society to value and develop awareness for the true rewards of art, and an appreciation for the efforts and needs of artists.

We believe in supporting each other’s efforts as artists.

We support and respect the diversity of artistic expressions.

We believe that artists should have the opportunity to develop their skills and show their work in a supportive, nurturing environment.

We strive to have a kind and supportive organization, and will work collaboratively across functions to achieve our common goals.
